Our mission
Built so neighbors can share what they already have
Hive5 exists to empower communities to share and access what they need. You should not have to buy a pressure washer, a carpet cleaner, or a party tent for the one weekend a year you actually need it.
And if you already own those things, they should be working for you rather than taking up space in the garage. Every idle item is money sitting still.
We are building the neighborhood sharing economy: a way for people to put what they own to use, get what they need close to home, and help create a circular economy in the process.

Why we exist
The first thought you get when you need a product is that you have to buy it. We strive to change that mentality by offering a solution that will either make you money or save your money. Simply put, rent instead of buy. We would like to provide people with alternative ways to make additional income and put their things to use, and also give people flexibility, ease and cost savings by finding things they need occasionally close to their homes, rather than buying for hefty prices. We want to promote this culture of reuse and give and take and hence we came up with the name Hive5 which resembles people interacting together and helping each other!
Where we are
We are a Seattle based start up, founded in 2022. We operate in the United States, and we are starting with a small number of customers to form the core of our business. We plan to grow with you and scale our user base and expand to more locations soon.
